Sand Tots is a co-operative nursery school located on Artesia Boulevard. It offers classes for children ages two through five. Tuition ranges between $200 and $415, depending upon the age of the child. Sand Tots is different from traditional nursery schools in that it places heavy emphasis on spontaneous learning, creativity and parent participation. Sand Tots offers art classes, music classes and language classes as well as summer programs in the months of June and July. This nursery school was established in 1972 and has been at its current location for about 15 years.
