A one-way hike. Go up and come back down the same way. There's parking at the bottom of the hike or you can park at the start of the hike if you don't mind the dirt and rocky path on the way up....

San Vicente Mountain Park, located in the eastern Santa Monica Mountains, spans 102 acres and offers visitors breathtaking 360-degree views along with access to a vast network of hiking, mountain biking, and equestrian trails. The park also features picnic areas and is a gateway to nearby Marvin Braude Mulholland Gateway Park and the expansive 20,000-acre Big Wild wilderness area.
Historically significant, the park was once home to a Nike Ajax missile launch site during the Cold War, with self-guided interpretive displays detailing its military history. The original radar tower now serves as a prime vantage point for observing stunning sunsets over the Santa Monica Mountains and the Los Angeles Basin.

Pretty great hike with amazing views. The only drawback is it's super dusty in summer especially when cars pass by. Once you get to the top the views are terrific. Wide trails so very comfortable....

Great steady well maintained trail. Not too busy, great place to get away from Griffith park which can get a bit crowded. The tail has a water station and toilets about a little under 4miles up...
