San Jose Optometry

History

San Jose Optometry is now re-opened at the new JC Penney location in Eastridge Mall! Dr. Mortazavi started her practice at Valley Medical Hospital in 1993 where she practiced for 12 years.She then moved to the East Bay where she opened her practice in Richmond in 2006 and started teaching at UC Berkeley School of Optometry in the binocular vision laboratory. She recently moved back to the South Bay where she is now seeing patients.

Specialties

Dr. Mortazavi recently moved her practice to Silicon Valley after serving as a faculty member at UC Berkeley School of Optometry where she was an Assistant Clinical Professor for the past ten years. She enjoys practicing in the Bay Area where she also grew up.Her specialties are pediatric optometry, dry eye treatment and treatment for computer related eye muscle strain. She enjoys getting to know her patients and their families and has patients from ages 2 years to 98 years old. Her exams are not rushed and will will spend the time needed to thoroughly examine your eyes and explain any findings and treatment options including glasses, contacts, medication or vision therapy.
