San Joaquin Sheriff's Office

Established in 1849, the San Joaquin County Sheriff s Department is a full-service law enforcement agency. It has a patrol division that responds to complaints filed with the department, reports of incidents and criminal violations, as well as enforces traffic laws, investigates accidents, and serves in the civil and criminal process. The San Joaquin County Sheriff s Department also maintains a civil division that responds to legal processes directed to the sheriff, including writs of execution, evictions, notices, provisional and enforcement processes, and various other court orders and documents. The department s criminal investigation division undertakes cases related to burglary, homicide, theft and robbery. The San Joaquin County Sheriff s Department is located in French Camp, Calif.
