The San Jacinto Wildlife Area is a 10,000-acre conservation land located in Nuevo, California, dedicated to preserving and protecting the northern San Jacinto Valley. Managed by the Department of Fish and Game, it is home to a diverse range of plant and animal species, including 25 species of raptors and three threatened and endangered plants.
As part of the Western Riverside County Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan reserve system, the San Jacinto Wildlife Area offers visitors the opportunity to explore its natural beauty through self-guided auto tours and nature walks. Visited here twice in the past week. It's nicely maintained and a great escape from the noise of the city. Keep in mind this isn't a well groomed and cliche/touristy picnic spot for you city...

Davis road is closed and the area is rural. I have Verizon service and it still had a hard time mapping out the alternative route. I will review a 2nd time when they re-open the road.
