San Francisco School of the Arts (SOTA) is a visual and performing arts high school. The school is a part of the San Francisco Unified School District. It provides advanced placement (AP) and honors for English, social studies, foreign language and mathematics. San Francisco School of the Arts also offers creative writing, piano, theatre, vocal, and film and video courses. In addition, the school provides an array of foreign language courses that include Chinese Mandarin, Russian, Spanish, Italian and French.
