With its serene and picturesque grounds, the cemetery provides a final resting place for nearly 10 million Veterans, offering a place of remembrance and honor for those who have served their country.

As a part of the National Cemetery Administration, San Francisco National Cemetery is dedicated to preserving the legacy of our nation's heroes. The cemetery is currently closed to new interments, but continues to accept subsequent interments for veterans or eligible individuals, ensuring that their sacrifices are recognized and remembered for generations to come.
