The San Dimas Canyon Nature Center Associates is a volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering an appreciation for the natural world among both children and adults. Operating under the umbrella of the Nature Center Associates of Los Angeles County, they manage interpretive programs and raise funds for the care of animals housed at the Nature Center.
In addition to fundraising, the associates engage the community through school tours, bird walks, and outreach activities, depending on volunteer availability. Nice park. Good playground. Also has a fun little nature center for kids. (As long as you don't expect to much it's a fun 20 minute diversion where you can see some bids, snakes and such. )
