For over 10 years, Virtual Reality Medical Center (VRMC) offers virtual reality exposure therapy to treat panic and anxiety disorders. Based in San Diego, Calif., the center uses simulation technologies in areas such as treating patients with anxiety disorders, training for both military and civilian populations and enhancing various educational programs. It also develops protocol to address an array of needs for military personnel and civilian first responders as well as emerging technologies for various security and intelligence operations.
