San Diego Street Division

The San Diego Street Division is a city street system that maintains more than 2,800 miles of street and alleys, over 5,000 miles of sidewalk, nearly 200,000 trees, approximately 70,000 drain structures, more than 53,000 street signs and over 40,000 street lights in. The system utilizes information technology and engineering systems. Its roadways section is responsible for alleys, bridges, curbs, gutters, dirt roads, potholes, sidewalks, street resurfacing and slurry sealing. The San Diego Street Division s storm drains section covers a range of duties, including fences, channels, drain structures and street sweeping.
