History
I earned my Certified Childbirth Educator (traditional childbirth education method) through the Childbirth Education Association of San Diego, a former Chapter of ICEA. My certification was an intensive 9 months and required mentored teaching. Upon completion of my CCE, I worked for CEA of San Diego, a non-profit organization until it closed. I also teach at a local hospital as a Perinatal Educator and do continued education courses in my field every year. My traditional Childbirth Preparation background affirmed my personal belief in the necessity of teaching from evidence based research. in 2011, I became a Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypnosis Instructor and Hypnobabies Certified Hypno-Doula. The incredible value of hypnosis continues to impress me. In 2013, I completed an intensive Hypnotherapy training program and added Certified Hypnotherapist to my credentials. It's been an interesting journey, one I would not trade for anything, and one that I know is far from over!
