Founded in 1988, San Diego French-American School is a private, coeducational, independent, nonprofit school that serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. The school provides classes in math, Spanish, science, English and French. It also offers bilingual classes. San Diego French-American School has a parents association that organizes various fundraising events. The school is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the French Ministry of National Education. In addition, it organizes summer camps that include recreational and sports activities. The school offers student programs related to art and physical education. San Diego French-American School maintains a location in La Jolla, Calif.
