History
Prior to starting a business as a special education consultant, Jennifer spent 23 years as a special education teacher, working with students with moderate to severe disabilities, including students with autism, Down Syndrome, intellectual disabilities, orthopedic impairments, and multiple handicaps. Her passion was developing a modified curriculum that would help her students to become the best version of themselves.

San Diego Educational Services helps parents navigate all aspects of the special education system, including, but not limited to: -writing letters requesting an initial assessment for an IEP or 504 plan -classroom observations -reviewing assessment reports and IEPs and providing feedback -assist parents in requesting independent educational evaluations and connecting you with providers -assisting with suspensions to ensure your child's rights are being followed -prepare for upcoming IEP and 504 meetings -attending IEP and 504 meetings -researching and visiting alternate placement options -attorney referrals
