History

The owner grew up curious about how things worked and how they were made. He was always mechanically and technically gifted and was the kid who disassembled the toaster, waffle iron, door locks, etc. then would put them back together - and they worked. The business started in early 1987 after the owner had completed a 4 year college degree in communications, attended graduate school, and worked in the education/communications field. Something was missing in his life. He quit his steady job after 7 years in a well paying position at the University of California.
