San Diego Comic Fest is a friendly and intimate comic convention that offers fans the opportunity to mingle directly with professionals and exhibitors in a casual atmosphere. With an extensive program that includes panel discussions, guest programs, artist alley, tabletop gaming, cosplay, and an exhibitor hall filled with comics, books, toys, and collectibles, this convention provides a relaxed setting for fans and professionals to enjoy their shared love of comics, science fiction, films, and animation.
Founded in 2012 by a group of Comic-Con veterans, San Diego Comic Fest is a fan-produced convention that aims to recreate the early Comic-Con experience. As an all-volunteer event, each fan in attendance plays an important role in creating a memorable experience for all. Produced by the International Popular Arts and Comics Education League (iPACE League), this non-profit organization ensures that San Diego Comic Fest remains a gathering of the tribe where fans can come together and have a great, fun time.

It's a pretty good smaller convention but it tends to have too many of the same people over and over again. Guess they just can't say "no" to the chronic regulars but it feels like Match Game '74...
