History
The San Carlos Youth Center opened its doors after an amazing community-wide fundraising effort, spearheaded by the Rotary Club of San Carlos and the Youth Center Foundation. The Youth Center contains a full-sized gym, a homework lab with paid tutors, a large game room, movie lounge, dance studio, staff offices and a large kitchen for preparation of after-school snacks. From day one, the Youth Center has been home to over 100 children each day, mainly serving as a safe environment to go directly after school and has become a valuable resource for homework assistance, hanging out, indoor sports, and invaluable local resource for establishing friendships. The City proudly celebrated its 15th anniversary on Aug. 27, 2014. The Youth Center is available for rentals. Special conditions do apply.
