Dr. Pejman Bakhtiary is an accomplished ophthalmologist and cornea specialist certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He specializes in advanced corneal transplantation techniques, modern cataract surgery, ocular surface diseases, and comprehensive eye care. Dr. Pejman welcomes all patients, from those needing routine eye care to others who may be dealing with the most complex eye care issues. He has completed an ophthalmology residency at Loma Linda University. He completed his fellowship training in Cornea, External Diseases, and Refractive Surgery at the prestigious Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA. Dr. Bakhtiary has a background in academic ophthalmology, has been an active participant in industry research initiatives, and he has authored dozens of peer-reviewed articles and made presentations in national and international ophthalmology meetings.

Dr. Richmond E. Roeske is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in general ophthalmology, cataract surgery with lens implantation, LASIK and refractive surgery and micro-invasive glaucoma surgery at Pacific Eye Institute. Dr. Roeske sees patients across the Inland Empire at PEI's offices in Eastvale, Rancho Cucamonga, Temecula, Upland and Riverside. Dr. Roeske is a compassionate doctor who truly cares about his patients. He has been named a Top Doctor as voted by his peers in independent surveys through Consumers’ Checkbook Guide to Top Doctors, for ten consecutive years. He has treated thousands of patients, has been awarded numerous honors and published several investigative, medical, and surgical management abstracts in prestigious professional journals of ophthalmology. Additionally, he has served as Assistant Clinical Professor and Associate Residency Coordinator at Loma Linda University School of Medicine.

Dr. Pamela Bekendam is a board-certified general ophthalmologist who has spent nearly two decades working to manage and treat patients with common eye conditions as well as complex eye diseases. In her role at Pacific Eye Institute, she has successfully performed thousands of cataract surgeries and has dedicated her time to providing surgical eye care for disadvantaged individuals as a volunteer with Good Samaritan Hospital, La Romana, Dominican Republic, and Tanzania. Dr. Bekendam is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Loma Linda University medical center in Loma Linda, California – the same institution where she earned her medical degree in 1994.
