Strolled into this shop and saw a lovely blouse I purchased last year in Hermosa Beach, near LA. Shocked to see that I had paid DOUBLE the price they were charging here. Lovely indian textiles...

I just learned that the merchandisers from Ambiance bought a shitload of bracelets from Samsara, and put a 300% mark-up on them. I really hate Union St. sometimes.

these are the kind of shops that disappeared after the late 70's......this is so nice to be able to shop for indian and tibetan cloth. and jewelry without wading thru a bunch of teeny bopper...

beware-i mailed the blouse back to the store for a credit from the store or on my visa. i mailed it to the address on the saleslip. they now say this is their old address and the item is lost-so...
