History

I am the only person that I know who felt sad when our home renovation ended. In the course of adding a second story to our 1914 Oakland bungalow, I discovered that I am wildly in love with what the right paint color, in the right space, can do. I spent many nights (my husband might say too many) poring over paint decks and falling asleep to the warm glow of Pinterest. It was the best thing ever. I had been a design writer for many years, but after my own renovation, I changed my focus from merely writing about the perfect wall color, to bringing it into people's homes. I trained to become a Certified Color Expert, gaining the technical know-how to choose interior and exterior colors tailored to each unique space - and the unique people who live there. Today my home lifts my heart every time I walk in the door, and there's nothing I love more than creating that same experience for my clients.
