Salsa de Oro

History

Salsa de Oro comes from a very old and authentic Mexican recipe which I learned from my mother-in-law, who learned from her mother. Sixty-five plus years of this recipe being perfected! Salsa de Oro is great for entertaining, holiday gatherings, or sports events. It's delicious on eggs, steak, taco topping, over a baked potato, in soups, sandwiches, salads -- everything, really! Salsa de Oro debuted in a local farmers' market in Butte County on April 1, 2015. We have had an extremely positive customer following and continue to sell out of our delicious salsa at farmers' markets. We now have 5 stores! 2 in Oroville (Maidu Mart & The Good Earth Coffee & Tea House), 2 in Sac (Corti Bros Grocery & Compton's Market), 1 in Chico (New Earth Market).
