Located in Anaheim, Calif., Dr. Jonas E. Salk Elementary School serves more than 800 students in prekindergarten through grade six and offers a wide variety of academic and extracurricular activities. Its academic curriculum includes reading, mathematics, English, social studies, foreign languages, science, and physical and health education. The elementary is located on more than 18 acres of land and offers a variety of facilities, including a large playground, library, multipurpose rooms, cafeteria and administrative offices. I went to Salk for 4th, through 6th grade back in the early 60's. I'm still friends with many of the kids that I went to school back then.
