Salinas High School

Salinas High School serves more than 2,500 students in grades 9 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as math, science, reading, social studies and language arts. The school provides a variety of extracurricular programs in visual and performing arts and health and physical education. In addition, the school conducts sessions in world languages and vocational and technical education. Salinas High School provides alternative education and guidance and counseling services. It also provides various sports activities, such as water polo, football, golf, tennis, volleyball and cross country. The school supports more than 50 student associations, including a student body, music groups and athletic booster clubs with over 1,000 members. Salinas High School also has accelerated classes in gifted and talented education and honors and advanced placement courses. It is located in Salinas, Calif.
