Saint Raphael Church Parish

Established in 1817, Saint Raphael Parish is a multilingual and multicultural Catholic community. Based in San Rafael, Calif., the parish has a broad diversity of people come together to pray, worship, learn, share and serve as disciples of Jesus Christ. Saint Raphael Parish includes the main church, Mission San Rafael Arcangel, St. Sylvester's Chapel as well as a preschool and an elementary school. The Church has ministries, such as youth ministries, worship groups and music ministries as well as peace and justice ministries. Saint Raphael Church's youth groups organize athletic activities pertaining to basketball, volleyball and, track and fields. The church has serves as a historical, cultural and spiritual center to the people of the community.
