Saint Mary's School

St. Mary s of the Assumption School is a learning center that provides academic and religious education to more than 350 students in kindergarten through grade eight. It provides an academic program that focuses on the development of reading, language arts and math skills in lower grades. It additionally offers classes in social studies, industrial arts, Spanish, physical education, computer applications and science. The school operates a library and media center that offers a collection of books, newspapers, magazines and reference materials to its students. St. Mary s of the Assumption School offers a variety of sports and extracurricular activities. It additionally offers food and individual and group counseling services. It is a part of St. Mary s Parish and is under the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. The school is located in Whittier, Calif.
