History
The charter yacht sailboat Taihoa, herself, was splashed (launched) in New Zealand in 1949. Her second owner sailed her all the way to California where she has been home ported in Sausalito for the last number of years. I've been sailing the Bay and adjacent coastline sine the 1980s. I bought Taihoa five years ago and have gotten her into beautiful shape with the help of 1st Mate Uriel. We both love the Bay and sailing. We started offering charters in 2017 after I gained six years of experience in the charter business working on other boats.

Taihoa is a classic 1949 Tahiti Ketch sailing the waters of San Francisco Bay with an emphasis on local maritime history, interesting beverages, good food, and the environment of the ocean and bay.
