Established in 1979, Minto Research & Development, Inc. began by researching the best way to treat femoral fractures. That’s why we developed the Sager Emergency Traction Splint. Our state-of-the-art technology allows First Responders to treat fractured femurs in the same manner as that used in Orthopedic operating theatres – where open reduction and splinting is needed to treat a fractured femur. Every aspect of Sager Splints has been engineered to provide First Responders with an easy to use, rapid, one-person application traction device – that provides a known amount of traction and reduces the amount of traction applied as the muscle spasm releases.
