Founded in 1993, Sagantec is a privately held company, which supplies layout migration and re-implementation tools for processor, memory and analog/mixed signal design. The company offers an automated way to implement physical components, such as processor cores, libraries and memories in advanced deep submicron semiconductor process technologies and thus enable fast introduction of silicon on ceramic designs. Sagantec solutions encompass physical design components, from analog cells and mixed-signal components, custom libraries and memories, standard cell libraries, to large memory macro cells and complex Internet protocol cores, such as central processing units and digital signal processors. Its customers include Motorola and National Semiconductor. Sagantec North America maintains offices in Fremont, Calif.
