History

Sacred Space Gardens had its humble beginnings in 1995 with one man, a trowel, a truck, and a dream. It has since grown, through passion, hard work, and dedication, into a successful business that employs an outstanding team of professionals and services happy clients all over the Bay Area. At the core of our mission is our belief in our sacred connection to the landscapes that surround us and in caring for them in a way that provides for long term sustainability. We honor this by incorporating ecologically sound practices in our day to day operations wherever possible. We also believe in contributing to our local economy and regularly partner with other local businesses and support them by purchasing all our materials locally. Landscaping not only increases property and home value, but it transforms outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional, and enjoyable garden areas whether its a place to entertain, a quiet retreat, a fun kid-friendly space, or a veggie garden & flowers.

Specialties

We have been providing Bay Area clients with Landscape Design, Construction, and Maintenance services with an emphasis on organic, sustainable practices since 1995. We offer full design services and consultations whether it's a simple planting plan or a large garden re-do with multiple hardscape elements. We construct and install all aspects of landscape projects including: Decks and patios, Pathways, Fencing, Arbors, Retaining walls, Benches and seating, Stonework and masonry, Fully automated drip irrigation systems, Lighting, Plantings, Other hard/softscape details. We also construct and install designs by other Bay Area designers such as Liquidamber, Growsgreen, Deanna Glory Landscape Design, and Sloat Gardens. Our certified Bay-Friendly gardeners handle all aspects of fine garden maintenance and plant care using ecologically responsible practices. We also offer clean outs & debris removal, pressure washing, party prep, seasonal plantings, vegetable and herb gardens, etc.
