History

Sacred Salon has been in the heart of owner Christina Bowers for years. The final motivation to open the first Tahoe organic salon came about with the discovery that she was having a baby. Spending so much time researching ways to live consciously and eating organically was in such contrast to working in an environment saturated in toxic chemicals. After having yet another severe reaction to the Brazilian Blowout chemicals- enough was enough. 12 years of hairstyling in San Francisco, San Diego, Hollywood and Tahoe has led to the creation of a spa-like organic salon where we do not compromise the health of our environment or its inhabitants.
