Sacred Heart School

Located in Salinas, Calif., Sacred Heart School serves students in kindergarten through grade eight. Its curriculum emphasizes basic skills in reading, math, language arts, social studies and science. It also provides specialized instruction in physical education, computer applications and music instruction. The school features an after-school sports program, student council, student-prepared liturgies and prayer services and extended care program. The school is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the Western Catholic Educational Association. Sacred Heart School has a parent club that organizes fundraising activities and fosters community building spirit among parents. Additionally, the school publishes a monthly newsletter.
