Established in 1981, Sacramento State Aquatic Center provides a range of boating, educational and recreational programs and services for individuals and families. It is a cooperative operation that specializes in kinesiology, including lessons in beginning and intermediate sailing; basic windsurfing and water skiing; and basic Olympic rowing and recreation waterfront management. The center provides leisure classes for the general public and competitive teams, as well as a selection of progressive summer camps and youth programs. Operational for more than 26 years, it also offers private lessons in kayaking, windsurfing, sailing, rowing, canoeing, water skiing, wake boarding and Jet Skiing. Sacramento State Aquatic Center is located in Gold River, Calif.
