Sacramento Crisis Nursery

The Sacramento Crisis Nurseries serves children up to the age of 5 who are victims of violence and abuse. It provides assistance for alcohol and drug abuse, mental health problems, poverty, homelessness and isolation. The organization offers respite care to fathers, as well as grandparents raising their grandchildren, and foster parents and guardians. The Sacramento Crisis Nurseries employs case managers who provide counseling and support services and assist parents to address the issues affecting the well-being of their family. The organization has served over 2,300 children and their families. It has partnerships with various public and private family service agencies throughout Sacramento County, Calif. The Sacramento Crisis Nurseries also provides drug treatment, housing, health care, mental health, parent training, child care and domestic violence prevention services.
