Russian School of Mathematics - Irvine

History

The Russian School of Mathematics (RSM) opened in 1997 with the goal of creating a unique after-school mathematics program. Our hope was to build a systematic education based on the traditions of Russia and Europe and adapted to the needs of American students. Today, RSM is one of the largest after-school math enrichment programs in the Northeast, and serves more than 10,000 students across six states. Our mission is to help all children build a solid foundation in math and logical reasoning, self-confidence, and a love of learning that will last throughout their lives.

RSM attracts families who want to prepare their children for the challenges of higher education and ensure that their kids have strong math background, problem solving skills and the ability to compete in the contemporary international market.
