gfh Architecture, Planning & Graphics has a unique and proven, successful approach to discovering creative design solutions for each individual project. The firm's design philosophy is accomplished by the blend of a highly professional staff working in close concert with the principal architect, Gary F. Harcourt, to carefully balance the various economic, environmental, and jurisdictional factors unique to each project. This combination of disciplines has resulted in many workable, creative design solutions and many satisfied clients. Satisfaction of our clients is of the utmost importance. Through our expertise in providing quality designs, we give the opportunity of involving the client in this process, allowing him to perform those tasks in a timely and cost effective manner. We feel we demonstrate excellent project management capabilities. Having a cost conscious attitude, we stress the realization of the project, which results in a progress of the analysis and the conversion of design decisions into a sensitive and inspired design solution, which is evidenced by numerous and varied projects that have been successfully implemented. The firm has been established since January of 1981, in Atascadero, California. gfh projects, ranging from small residences to larger commercial complexes and land planning, all benefit from the firm's communication skills with government processing requirements prevalent today. Having experienced a wide variety of projects, we have chosen to establish ourselves as a small to medium sized organization. We employ from one to three draftspersons/cadd operators, working in close concert with the project architect, enabling us to maintain a close, personal contact with each client, as well as the governmental review agencies. We found this to be a very satisfying and successful arrangement, both for ourselves and our clients. By maintaining flexibility within our own organizational structure, both large and small projects can be handled easily. We offer the knowledge, experience and a variety of expertise necessary to deal with the prevalent demands of today's environmental design projects. With the increasing complexity of environmental analysis required today, gfh has found it useful to assemble a team of experienced consultants upon whom we call whenever necessary.
