History

Started in Meadville, PA as Roxanne Photography, Roxanne excelled in non-contract High School Senior Portraits. Repeatedly, her work had received top honors in international competitions. More recently, she has relocated the business to southern CA with the base in Carlsbad. The business has photographed some famous artists from the LA market. The business is now a blend of in-studio and on-site photography, including beach and desert locations.

I begin each commissioned shoot by learning my client's objectives. The more I get to know about you, your concerns, your desired uses for the images, your budget or desired investment - the better I am able to deliver a product with which you will be delighted. As an artist, I take your images to the next level because of my attention to all the details. Proper lighting, whether studio or natural, sets the desired mood for the images. Appropriate posing techniques enhance femininity or masculinity. Creative use of lenses can help slim, lengthen, shorten, modify or animate the subject. Often, I will even take the time to restyle hair and make adjustments to clothing! I excel at capturing emotion in my images. Whether I am working with newborns, babies, children, teens, HS seniors, couples, families, business professionals, models, actors, weddings, elderly, dogs, cats, horses, pets, and even for the needs of businesses, I am able to consistently create images with feeling.
