Some of my clients see me for coaching on goal setting, business, motivation, relationship issues, family issues, career and job search.I work extensive with addiction, including eating related, alcohol, drug, smoking cessation. Other clients see me for Depression, Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. I work with clients on their core issues through Schema Therapy, to provide more lasting results. I offer a supportive, collaborative, structured focus. I have extensive experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds and ages. I am competent in working with different cultural perspectives and world views. As a career counselor for over thirty years, I help clients find a career path that will make them happy. Because of my background in personal counseling, I assist clients when they get stuck so they can find a career that is a good fit. I help clients identify their skills, potential industries, personality style, values, salary requirements, working environments that attract them. I work with other facets of career exploration, including identifying educational choices, interview skills, tips on resumes, cover letters, creative methods to contact potential employers. I teach Cognitive Therapy for Depression, Anxiety, Panic Disorders, Social Anxiety,Changing Core Beliefs (Schema Therapy), Personality Disorders, I consult on complex cases for other licensed mental health professionals. I train marriage family therapists, licensed clinical social workers, registered nurses, other licensed mental health professionals in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Continuing Education Units. I have been a speaker at numerous professional conferences for therapists.
