Ross Betsy Elementary School

Betsy Ross Elementary School, located in Anaheim, Calif., is a public school that offers educational and extracurricular programs to students in grades kindergarten through six. More than 1,100 students study in the school that offers subjects, such as language arts, mathematics, social science, science and art. The school has an enrollment of more than 1,100 students, and its teachers focus on increased student reading and writing achievement. A majority of the teachers have been trained in guided language acquisition design strategies and writing instruction methods. Additionally, a number of teachers have received training in reciprocal teaching to increase reading comprehension. The institution s campus features classrooms, administrative building and multipurpose rooms. The school participates in many supplementary educational activities, such as environmental field trips, the art program, writing program, civic oration and oral interpretation contest. The institution is a part of the Anaheim City School District.
