HistoryRCS began as a vision based on the philosophies of Bev Bos and the experiences of the Roseville Community Preschool. A small group of Preschool alumni parents initiated the process of creating an elementary school with the goal of establishing a strong community to support the positive growth of each child. The school opened it's doors as a parent-participation program. Since then, the school grew to become the K-6th that exists today.SpecialtiesOur program emphasizes academic growth through developmental learning and a multi-age approach. Working together with parents and the community, we are able to offer small class sizes, cooperative group work, exceptional learning environments, extensive field trips and a dynamic program that strives to meet a diverse population of interests and learners in a hands-on, activity-based manner. Research supports that when children are presented with a developmentally appropriate task with concurrent expectations, students learn quickly, easily, and eagerly.
