At Roots & Wings our philosophy for child care is to allow children to play and discover things independently. When children are playing they are learning. They are learning self-control, self-direction, and self-help skills. They are also learning how to cooperate, share, negotiate, and organize. Children need to discover things independently at their own pace and in their own unique way. To accomplish this philosophy I provide a nurturing environment that allows children to explore, experiment, and inquire first-hand. Activities offered are developmentally appropriate for the age group involved and children are welcomed to pursue those activities that spark their interest. We are currently accepting kids from 0 months - 5 years.
