Cranmer Engineering, Inc was established in 1962 in Grass Valley, California, as a partnership of Jim B. Cranmer and G.R. Beechel, L.S., to offer civil engineering and land surveying services. In 1964 the partnership was re-organized into two sole proprietorships, and one of the resulting firms, Jim B. Cranmer, Civil Engineer was incorporated in 1968 and became Cranmer Engineering, IncSince its inception, the firm has been engaged in providing professional and technical services and has developed into a full service, multi-discipline consulting organization, with capability to develop projects from concept through feasibility, planning, engineering, design, construction management, and operations. During its forty years in business the firm has provided professional services to both private and public clients, including developers, industrial corporations, mining companies, utility districts, and Federal, State, and local government agencies, and has consistently maintained a reputation for quality professional services.The firm has expanded its technological base by the addition of mechanical engineering and electrical engineering capabilities, and has the in house staff to perform all the technical requirements for multidisciplinary projects without the use of outside consultants. The firm also includes a Water Analysis Laboratory which provides specialized analysis, testing, and field service for water quality investigations. Cranmer Engineering, Inc provides a full range of technical and professional services in the broad scope of consulting engineering and planning. Along with its technical and public liaison required to fully process projects through various levels of Federal, State, and local government agencies.
