Rockin' Robins Children's Music Class

History

Music Teacher Jessica Neighbor has taught and peformed music for over twenty years. She started Rockin' Robins three years ago in her Oakland music studio with a group of her Mommy friends after the birth of her two young sons. Rockin' Robins Music Class has expanded to multiple classes in Piedmont and San Francisco. Jessica also teaches drama at Duck's Nest Preschool in Oakland and she composes children's music.

Specialties

Rockin ' Robins Children's Music Class is a closed group music class for children ages 6 months to 3 years old and their caregivers. In class children engage in fun and age appropriate musical activities to learn music theory concepts and to foster communication skills. Children enjoy hands-on music including singing, creative movement, instruments, puppets, and sign language. Rockin' Robins cultivates strong bonds between you and your child, as well as with the other families enrolled in the closed group session. Music in class includes a diverse blend of traditional children's favorites, original children's music, and world music for everyone to enjoy. Rockin' Robins is lead by professional music teacher Jessica Neighbor and is taught in San Francisco and Piedmont, CA.
