Rock Tree Sky is an inclusive learning community in Ojai, CA that offers learner-centered education for pre-K through 12th grade students. Founded in 2016 by Natasha Efross and Jim Bailey, Rock Tree Sky provides a safe and nurturing environment where learners are encouraged to explore their curiosities, develop their personal agency, and build meaningful relationships with peers and mentors.
With a mission to cultivate the whole self through self-directed learning, Rock Tree Sky has grown from a homeschool support and enrichment group to serving over 200 learners per week on the campus of the former Summit Elementary School. Committed to the belief that everyone is born curious, capable, and deserving of the freedom to pursue their unique potential, Rock Tree Sky holds space for learners to thrive and celebrates the diversity of learning experiences.
