History
ROBOLIGHTS is a unique yearly art & light display centered in Palm Springs. Possibly the largest residential light display in the country but it's more than a light display, it's an experience of recycled artwork. A tradition I began at the age of twelve in 1986 built on a vision of instead of cursing the darkness in the world, light the darkness one light at a time. Now in it's 31st year. ROBOLIGHTS is designed to evoke happiness, laughter and joy when visited. Each year ROBOLIGHTS attracts visitors from near and far after all it's a why not world in a why world. A place to experience like no other.

ROBOLIGHTS is a unique tradition I began at the age of twelve in 1986. The theme is, it's a why not world in a why world. A place with unbridled imagination, instead of cursing the darkness light it up one light at a time. Designed to evoke happiness, laughter and joy when ROBOLIGHTS is visited. During your visit, see the whimsical wonderland part north pole, robots & aliens made from recycled items in the form of monumental brightly colored found art after all we live in a colorful world. You are in the physical manifestations of what I have imagined, with great hopes of a positive future. I have spent untold 1000s of hours producing these artworks. Its for young people of all ages, loved during the holidays for it tons of shimmering lights & year round for it's art made out of discarded junk, that otherwise would have been destined for a landfill. Much of the discarded items are donated mostly by neighbors throughout the neighborhood whom have helped support it over the decades. *To view the artworks, it is by appointment only. Guests can text to schedule. Thankyou. ROBOLIGHTS, cannot be easily described but can only be experienced. Come and step into a place like no other.
