Robert Hung fled Communist rule in his native China and moved to Benicia, where he opened a China Garden on First Street in 1978 before moving to this site in 1985. His pride in Chinese culture is apparent throughout this location's decor, as is his affinity for the koi and other inhabitants of the four large fish tanks in the dining area. His satisfied clientele have left enthusiastic comments in the restaurant's guest book. Several photo collages, including some memorable Chinese New Year celebrations, lend to the decor.

Sadly they did close, but they are re-opening soon! We just spoke with the owner and they are looking for a new location ASAP in Benicia. Will post once we know.
