Roberta Jones Junior Theatre

History

Since 1969, Roberta Jones Junior Theatre has produced the best in Youth Theatre. Each year, hundreds of young people, ages 4-18, participate in classes and productions. RJJT has a reputation for presenting excellent theatrical productions that are suitable for all ages at an affordable ticket price. Young people who prefer to work behind the scenes receive top-notch technical theatre training and serve as technical crew for all RJJT productions. Roberta Jones Junior Theatre always casts everyone who auditions for our productions, and we are dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for anyone who would like to join our program. Roberta Jones Junior Theatre is sponsored by the City of Santa Clara Parks and Recreation Department.

Since 1969, Roberta Jones Junior Theatre has given young poeple in Santa Clara the opportunity to participate in high quality musicals and plays and provided excellent technical theatre education for youth. We produce 4 shows a year, and our audiences love bringing their families to see our high-quality productions that are appropriate for all ages at a cost that is affordable to all. Behind the fun and excitement of participating in a stage musical are the educational benefits of participating in our group. Young people gain social skills, learn important lessons about personal responsibility and discipline, and exercise their bodies and minds as they create wonderful stage productions together with friends.
