HistoryKrazan & Associates, Inc. was founded in Fresno, California, by Tom Krazan and Dean Alexander, both Registered Civil and Geotechnical Engineers with years of soils engineering experience. Within less than a year, a third partner, Kip Williamson, was added to the management team, bringing experience in specialty inspections. Initially, the firm specialized exclusively in geotechnical engineering and construction quality control. In 1990, Krazan & Associates established an Environmental Division to study soil and groundwater contamination issues as well as perform environmental assessments for real estate transactions. In 1992, Krazan & Associates acquired Lowry & Associates, a 15-person geotechnical firm in Sacramento, CA. In 2007, a fourth partner, Dave Jarosz, was added to the management team, bringing over 12 years of experience in engineering.
