Riverside County Public Social Services

The Orange County Social Services Agency operates under the policy direction of the Orange County board of supervisors and the California Departments of Social Services and Health Services. SSA is responsible for planning, implementing and operating many of the social services programs provided by the county of Orange, Calif. Funding for programs comes from state, federal and county sources. The agency s vision is to make sure that Orange County residents enjoy a safe and supportive environment that promotes stability and self-reliance. The agency is comprised of an efficient staff whose mission is to deliver quality social services that are accessible and responsive to the community, encourage personal responsibility, strengthen individuals, preserve families, protect vulnerable adults and children, and recognizes cultural diversity.
