History

LAUSD had Parent Education (Mommy and me) classes at Rinaldi Adult School for over 30 years. Valerie Beck and Laurie Carter were originally hired by LAUSD to teach Parent Education. Kay Munson was hired by LAUSD to be a teacher assistant. 5 years ago, LAUSD decided to let go of the Parent Education Program. The principal, of Rinaldi Adult School, decided that our program was needed in the community. We worked together to keep the program alive. in 2015 Rinaldi Mommy and Me, LLC was formed!
