Rikki Techner

History

Rikki Techner is a Los Angeles makeup artist, originally born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Driven by a clashing desire to make people look both beautiful and gruesome, she found a home in the film industry. Rikki has proven her skill in flawless beauty as well as injury and creature effects. As her skill set grew, so did her client base. Along with her work in the film industry, Rikki brings out her clients' inner beauty for weddings and events, as well as their inner demon for Halloween. She is comfortable with a wide range of styles and periods, and is always up for a challenge. It is her mission to bring her unique and creative touch to her client's vision for a perfect look every time.

To me, makeup is all about character. Sometimes that means creating a new person or creature from scratch, sometimes it means truly listening to someone and bringing their personality and inner beauty to the surface.
