Dr. Laura Roberts serves as Chairman and the Katharine Dexter McCormick and Stanley McCormick Memorial Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Stanford University School of Medicine as well as serves in a number of leadership roles at Stanford University and in the Stanford Medicine enterprise. She is a physician-scientist in academic medicine and an internationally recognized scholar in bioethics, psychiatry, medicine, and medical education. Dr. Roberts' early work elevated the perspectives of key stakeholders in psychiatric research, engaging with individuals with lived experience of mental and physical disorders, investigators, community members, and policymakers. Over two decades, Dr.

Douglas L. Noordsy, MD, is Clinical Professor, Director of Lifestyle Psychiatry and co-founder of the Sports Psychology & Psychiatry clinic in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Noordsy was previously Professor of Psychiatry at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. His research interests include effects of physical exercise on neurotrophic factors, brain volume and function and mental health and wellbeing. He is particularly interested in the role of physical exercise for prevention of progression of early psychosis and interactions between social and physical aspects of team sports. Dr.

Dr Katherine Sanborn specializes in the treatment of psychiatric inpatients. She has practiced Psychiatry for more than 15 years. Dr. Sanborn has a special interests in residency education, psychotherapy training, administration and developmental psychopathology.
